The 'Season'

Now as we plan an outing, it always has to include a happy hour. Sometimes we create our own! Today we drove to John's Pass (a little shopping village devoted to providing the tourist with any number of ugly t-shirts) where we were informed that tourist season had begun - bad news since we now claim to be temporary residents!

It was a lovely day to just relax, watch people, birds, fish and have the 'occasional' glass of wine.

Absolutely a must!  The Florida Winery is a store front
where you can sample every wine they make.  And we did!
You can't come to Florida without seeing yourself 20 years in the future. I'll leave it up to you to decide who this is in 20 years.

Best and worst part of dinner:  The restaurant we chose had the Missouri vs K-State game on tv. First it was great to be able to check in on the game.  Then, as the game progressed, Bob announced that he needed to go do laundry!  Even happy hour could not revive Mizzou.

OH HAPPY DAY!!!!!!

The shelling has not been too good the last few days - but - today was a bonanza.
 The shell-nazi is happy!

Am I the only one who sees OCD??

We are running out of room for our shells, good thing the big screen is unadorned.  Speaking of unadorned, our condo is VERY plain.  It demonstrates how something can seem different in pictures.  My one caveat is that WE look much better than our photos!

This lovely family was heading out to view the sunset from the beach.  Just had to take their photo since it reminded me of taking our family for the first time to the beach.  When I look at the photo now , I realize that just like the Fogels before them, these kids are heading away from their parents as fast as they can while mom and dad are lost in the moment.
