We said good-bye to Julie and Bill this morning. They head back to KC and hopefully warmer weather than when they left. We will miss them and their positive attitude to the beginning of every day. While they were here, it poured down rain twice, became very windy, temperature was in the 50's all week except for once, their shower backed up and they had to sleep in twin beds. Yet at the end of the day, they would always say"It was another wonderful day".

To continue in the much anticipated blog followers tradition, Larry cuts through to the real meaning of going to the Tampa Aquarium. This aquarium has extensive exhibits of Florida sea life as well as Florida flora and fauna. Right inside the door is the sting ray exhibit where anyone could pet the sting rays on their wings as they came floating by. Wings are velvety soft!
The aquaarium shows were overcrowded and not very well presented. The Penguin Parade that we were excited to see, had 2 penguins that were surrounded by at least 50 people and the program just had them walk around the area. We left for the Shark Show and that was a diver in the shark tank talking about each fish as they swam by. Neither show was blog worthy and yet here it is! All the exhibits were fascinating - we saw Nemo and Dori as well as seahorses, octopuses, alligators (we don't seem to be able to get enough of them), and of course the sting rays. All the exhibits were child friendly which made me think of my kid friendlies in Dallas! One day we will make this trip with them and see how patient those guides really are. I'm ready!
I loved looking at the fish surrounding us with the sunlight streaming down as we passed through this domed walkway connecting the exhibits.
We did get back to the condo in time for the stunning sunset from our balcony. In the top photo, Bill and Julie are wrapped in blankets - but still - It was an unforgettable sunset and a beautiful memory to end out time together.
Fun, fun, fun! Thank you, Pat and Larry, for a great trip!

Just now having enough time to look through your entire blog. Very nice. But, I especially like this picture of the fish with the light streaming down. Excellent! Of course, the sunset with the palms is excellent, but later you told me how to do that, and I did it myself, thanks to you.
